What Is A Whiplash Injury?

Whiplash injuries consist of injuries to the spine, cervical spine, lumbar spine or the brain.
They usually happen when a car is hit in the rear and your head goes back over the head rest and then propels forwards.
These injuries may be lifelong for a person who has never had a neck or back issue and make existing injuries even worse.
The driver who caused these injuries can be responsible if the injuries are deemed serious by New York State.
