• If an injured person dies during the course of the lawsuit, it does not mean the case is automatically over.
• The estate of that person can take over the case on their behalf.
• The claim can be pursued whether it is a personal injury claim where the injuries don’t result in death or a wrongful death claim where the injuries are the cause of that person’s death.
