What Happens if I am the Victim of a Crime in a Building?

The building is responsible for making sure that it has working door locks and intercom systems.
If the locks are broken, we can show that there was negligent security and can recover against the building.
If someone who lives in the building attacked you, it is not a negligent security case and we may be able to go after the building owner if they knew that the assailant was dangerous.
